Bio:
Ava Cowan is a Team Gaspari IFBB Figure professional and a 5 x Overall Figure Champion. She also became a certified personal training specialist after receiving her credentials at the Fitness Institute in
In early 2005, Ava posted head shots on a popular modeling website. Realizing her potential, Ava decided to turn her passion for a healthy lifestyle into a career. She discovered her path as a figure competitor as she was able to combine her rock solid work ethic, knowledge of exercise science, and intense personal drive.
In August 2005, Ava entered the NPC Southern States Figure Championship and won the Overall Figure title. She went on to compete in at the 2007 FAME North American Championships where she won the advanced division. Two weeks later, Ava competed at the 2007 Figure
In the summer of 2009, Ava won her second world title where she became the 2009 Figure Universe Overall Champion.
By the end of 2009 Ava decided to return to the most prestigious organization in the world the NPC. Her first show was the 2009 NPC Eastern USA where she won her height class and the Overall title. That win qualified her to compete on the national level. One week later Ava competed at the 2009 NPC Nationals where she won her class and gained IFBB Professional status.
